Adjustable: The stackable risers let you adjust the keyboard incline by 1/2" increments.

Natural Convection: Increasing the air space under your laptop will allow better heat dissipation. Your laptop heats the surrounding air. This hot air rises and is replaced by cooler air which creates a slow natural convection current.

Finding your comfort zone
Using a laptop comfortably for sustained use can be difficult because the laptop's design is a problem - when the screen is at a comfortable height, the keyboard isn't... and vice versa.

Here's the paradox. Your eyes should be in line with a point on the screen about 2" below the top of the screen... and touch typists should keep their wrists as flat as possible. Doing both at the same time is mission impossible with a laptop.

"Beg, borrow or steal an external keyboard and mouse for desk work. Be sure to elevate and position the screen to approximate looking at a real monitor.

'Hunt and peck' typing causes your head to bend forward to locate the keys causing neck strain. Raising the rear of the keyboard to the steepest angle lets you see the keys so much better and because you use your whole arm to hunt and peck, wrist strain is not the issue, neck strain is.
